water is the initial substance. It’ s ability to change aggregation and material specific inner forces like viscosity, surface tension and wettability, are the point of departure to create diversity in formal expression. It´s optical properties (refraction, reflection, glossyness….) is applied to distinguish different atmospherical situations. It´s physical properties of effective heat capacity and heat conductivity allows an interplay of release and absorption of energy. The anomaly in density provokes an uncertain change of state.

The sea water is the basic element to constitute the substance. The scenario should be related to the marine environment that allows different approaches:
- construction in the ocean (under and above the water level): 1 amphibious robot;
- construction of components in the ocean + assembly in the site (land): 2 robots;
- construction in the site (land) + connection to the ocean (water+sponges cultivation): 1 robot

As I’m interested in the attraction of two materials, my first question was: Which process do i (or the robot) need to bring the two materials together without using a specific glew?

The answer could bring the advantage of having the possibility of reconnecting and dissolving.

The picture below shows my first speculation with electromagnetism.
